BSU is Looking for You for Exercise Study!
This letter was passed to me from Ben Bennet via IHEN. It is written by Dr. Tony Mahon of Ball State University.
Dear Homeschoolers,
I am a faculty member in the Human Performance Laboratory at Ball State University and my research focuses on the effects of exercise in children.
Currently we have several studies in progress and we are interested in finding out ways to inform parents and recruit children who are home schooled to participate in these studies.
Our research provides a unique opportunity for children to not only participate as research subjects in these studies, but also an educational opportunity as my research team and I place particular emphasis in helping children understand how their body works during exercise and how we go about obtaining measurements that are unique to each study.
Thanks for giving this some consideration; I am looking forward to your reply.
Dr. Mahon’s contact information is below, should you like more information.
